In tandem with the Studi Galileo Institute, one of its partners, signatory of a successful MoU, U-3ARC took advantage of its presence, Tuesday June 18, 2024 in Vienna, at the UNIDO Headquarters, during a working meeting, to invite this United Nations body, which is also the implementing Agency of the Montreal Protocol, to integrate the National Associations of African Refrigeration Technicians into its activities. By involving them in the realization of projects within the continent, this would in turn make it possible to train more technicians and accelerate their development, he believes.
For President Madi Sakandé, accompanied by Mr. Marco Buoni, Director of the Centro Studi Galileo and Secretary General of the Italian Association of Technicians RACHP ATF, by getting closer to their respective Ozone Coordinators, the National Associations of African Refrigeration Technicians will be able to amplify their actions on the ground, in particular these projects, in line with the Montreal Protocol in Africa.
As for Marco Buoni, he thanked UNIDO Environment for what he described as an excellent cooperation meeting. “We look forward to the work enshrined in the roadmap, for the benefit of our services sector in developing countries, to achieve climate goals and for sustainable development! »
Their meeting with Mr. Adnan Atwa, Industrial Development Officer at the Montreal Protocol Unit at UNIDO, and his team, promises great achievements... they assured us.
