U-3ARC / Galileo Study Center / EAFC El Andalouss: A Strong Partnership for Training!

Announced in November 2024 during U-3ARC’s General Assembly in Tunis, El Andalouss Formation à la Carte, the Centro Studi Galileo, and U-3ARC signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Wednesday, February 26th in Tunis to promote and expand RACHP (Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, and Heat Pump) training in Tunisia and across Africa.

This MoU, finalized on December 3rd, 2024, was signed by Madi Sakandé, President of U-3ARC, Marco Buoni, Technical Director of Centro Studi Galileo and Zouhaier Landoulsi, Director of EAFC El Andalouss.

The Parties agree to collaborate to promote and offer high-level training courses in the Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, Heating, and Heat Pumps (RACHP) sector in Tunisia for African technicians. The collaboration aims to:

• To corroborate efforts in the field of Environmental protection & Energy Efficiency.

• Enhance the dissemination and accessibility of RACHP training courses.

• Work jointly on Education & Training and Certification of the African workforce engaged in RACHP Industry.

• Leverage the expertise and reputations of the First Party and Second Party as international entities.

• Utilize the training centre established by the Third Party in Tunisia as a continental hub for RACHP training activities.

Since February 24th, the El Andalouss Center has hosted its inaugural F-Gas and Flammable Refrigerants Certification Program, marking a milestone in Africa’s technical training landscape.

All African technicians now gain access to enhanced training opportunities through Tunisia. Plans are underway to establish additional centers in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Burkina Faso, ensuring broader access to RACHP training for professionals continent-wide.
