At Lagos, refrigeration technicians, gathered within NARAP (Nigerian Association of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Practitioners), received with great fanfare the President of U-3ARC, Madi Sakandé. John Akhabue, President NARAP, Secretary General Kabiru Abiodun, Treasurer Adewunmi Ozaveshe Balogun, as well as the representative of the Lagos unit affiliated to Narap and other Nigerian professionals, around fifteen people, welcomed him on Sunday March 17, 2024 in Lagos.
The commitment of the local associative units of NARAP of this African economic juggernaut comes at the right time. Should we remember that Nigeria is a federal republic, with 36 states? In Lagos, in addition to that State officials, the Treasurer, Mr. Adewunmi Ozaveshe Balogun, had to travel more than 400 km to attend the meeting.
The desire of Nigerian refrigeration technicians to strengthen U-3ARC is beyond doubt. Among other commitments, they made the firm decision to unite more at the national level to respond to the call of U-3ARC, to work on taking a census of their own, etc.
Before leaving, presents and gifts were symbolically offered to President Madi Sakandé. NARAP President John Akhabue took the opportunity to salute the tireless work of President Sakandé for the benefit of the profession and the RAC sector in Africa. To Madi Sakandé, who was speechless, face of so many considerations, he thanked NARAP and formulated prayers so that successes follow one another in Africa in a transversal area with multiple assets.
